Keep fresh with frozen grapes

If you’ve ever used ice cubes in your tea, you probably know the problem of deluding your precious favourite tea before being able to enjoy its flavour. Here’s the alternative: frozen grapes are excellent ice cubes, without any side effects. Plus they double as healthy snacks once the tea is gone.

Preparing your tea with frozen grapes

  • Remove the twigs and wash the grapes. If possible use organic grapes to avoid contamination to your tea. Whether you use green or red grapes is up to your personal preference. I prefer green grapes for my green tea and black grapes for the occasional Roiboos or black tea.
  • Put the grapes into your fridge during several hours. It’s always a possibility to freeze a couple more than you need for future occasions. They can be stored up to a year.
  • As soon as your tea is ready and reasonably cold, add 6-12 grapes to each cup and top up with your green tea.

You are ready to go!
